Facility overview & features

Our Augsburg facility will serve primarily as a display center, featuring torn-down parts from vehicles that have been carefully selected based on customer preferences. This focus includes parts from vehicles that are gaining traction across Europe.

What attendees can expect

Welcome & introduction

  • Begin your visit with a short introductory session, providing an overview of the facility’s benchmarking capabilities and key insights.

Facility walkthrough

Explore the facility with a guided walkthrough, including:

  • Our benchmarking strategies – Gain insights on our award-winning technologies, processes, and our future vehicle programs.
  • Best-of-benchmark assessments – Side-by-side analysis of vehicle components from various OEMs to find most efficient design relative to Design, Cost, and Performance metrics.
  • Parts display area – Hands-on access to several subsystems including e-drive units, power electronics, BIWs, IP, and much more. Correlate what you find in Iceberg with its physical part.

Current vehicles and parts on display

  • Zeekr 009 – Features CATL Qilin battery technology, extended range, reinforced roof, and high-performance air suspension.
  • Zeekr X – Equipped with intelligent driver assistance, reinforced anti-collision beams, and rated 5-star Euro NCAP.
  • Volvo EX30 – Built on Geely’s SEA2 platform, featuring a 12.3” integrated display and shared components with Zeekr X.
  • Avatr 11 – Developed by Changan, CATL, and Huawei, featuring a smart vehicle system and advanced e-drive technology.
  • Tesla Model Y (Austin Build) – Uses Gigacasting technology to reduce part complexity and an innovative floor-less BIW design.
  • Lotus Eletre R+ – Features self-cleaning LIDAR, an intelligent glass roof, and advanced autonomous driving systems.
